A flip leg lock is a quick-release mechanism that secures each tripod leg section using a hinged locking lever. Simply flip the lever open to extend or adjust the leg, then close it to lock the section firmly in place. This allows for fast, easy, and convenient height adjustment.
The folded height is the overall length of the tripod when all leg sections are fully retracted and folded. A compact folded height makes the tripod easier to carry, store, and transport.
